The land we own is situated in Tehama County Northern California. The summers here are hot (avg. 97 degree) and dry and the winters are fairly mild with no snow and 22" of annual rain fall. The land approx. 4-600 feet above sea level within the lower foothills of the coastal range and mendocino national forest. The land consists mainly of oat grasses which have been over grazed by cattle, a few medium sized California Blue Oaks, Yellow Star Thistle and several other drought tolerant plants. The area is surrounded by mountain views with the Lassen Peak Sierra Range on the East, Mount Shasta up north and the Coastal Range on the West.
